The Chesapeake Bay is one of the most complex estuary systems in the world, with over 11,684 miles of coastline. The Bay is rendered in meticulously appliqued gold or blue polysilk, layered on top of a pale blue or navy blue cotton; roads and ocean topography are entirely hand-stitched. Map area covers the watershed from Richmond and Norfolk, VA to Baltimore, MD and Wilmington, DE. The throw-sized Chesapeake Bay quilt measures approximately 54" x 72" and can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle.
City names embroidered on the quilt include: Richmond, Baltimore, Chincoteague, Annapolis, Tangier, Washington, Norfolk, Wilmington, and Dover.
The Chesapeake Bay Quilts will be back in stock March 2017. Please sign up for a one-time email notification to receive a heads-up when they're in the studio!
