For those of us who grew up in the Upper Midwest, the Great Lakes are a continual source of wonder. Skipping stones on the coast of Lake Superior or picking cherries in the Leelanau Peninsula, the folklore of the Lakes continues to grow with each generation. Each throw-sized quilt is made by hand from 100% natural cotton; the hand-appliqued lakes are made of poly-silk. Measures 52" x 72". Handmade in India and Brooklyn.
Cities included with the project are Duluth, Green Bay, Twin Cities, Milwaukee, Madison, Iowa City, Chicago, Fort Wayne, Traverse City, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Toledo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Toronto.
