Giving Back
We believe it is important to contribute to the community within which we operate as a business. We continue to learn, grow, and evolve in our approach. Here are some of the projects and organizations we have and continue to support through redistribution and action.
- Recurring monthly donations to RISE Rockaway, a long time partner of ours doing amazing environmental justice work!
- Volunteering with or donating to mutual aid organizations such as BedStuy Mutual Aid, the Campaign Against Hunger, Bushwick Ayuda Mutua, Little Essentials, and others.
- Creating educational opportunities for local youth on issues surrounding climate and environmental justice. This includes collaborating with PS54, PS21, and Greene Hill School.
- Facilitating climate advocacy and legislative change. We have lobbied alongside a network of activists: NY Renews Coalition, Climate Reality, Sunrise, and B Corp Climate Group.
