100% of proceeds from this banner will be donated to Brian Keeper, the kind neighbor in Hunt, Texas who woke up his community and saved countless lives—including my dear friend and her baby—by calling in the middle of the night.
Inspired by the bold activism of the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU), this handmade banner pays tribute to the group founded in 1903 by Emmeline Pankhurst and her daughters. Known for their militant tactics in the fight for women’s suffrage, the WSPU’s rallying cry—"Deeds Not Words"—captured their uncompromising demand for change.
This special banner incorporates lace from Emily's mother-in-law's wedding gown from 1971 and hundreds of crystal beads donated by a studio neighbor.
