Good Trouble

Sale price$375.00

On March 7, 1965, John Lewis and six hundred marchers crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge from Selma, AL on their way to Montgomery. Marchers were violently attacked by state troopers and this event led to the passing of the The Voting Rights Act just five months later.

Fifty years on, Lewis distilled the spirit of that march into a phrase that is our call to conscience: get in good trouble. Our Good Trouble banners are made with patchwork denim and a heavyweight upholstery linen in pale pink. 50% of proceeds will benefit the Southern Poverty Law Center.
