A collection of handmade American Flags made in collaboration with textile artist Sara Kraemer. Sara sews on a treadle machine Singer Model 27 from 1894, passed down from her great-grandmother, who once stitched flags and banners for her family's shop on Fulton Street!
Each unique flag is made from Sara’s incredible vintage fabric collection, pieced together to form a patchwork rich with memory—just like America itself, where every thread (and every person) has a place.
DETAILS
- Embroidered with "HL x SK 25" lower right corner
- Flag measures approximately 8" x 12"
- Framed; Flag hand-stitched to linen backing fabric
- White Frame Measures 11" x 17"
- Flag hand-finished with indigo or vegetable-dyed thread
