Mini: Women for Life on Earth
In 1981, a community of women marched to RAF Greenham Common in Berkshire, England in support of nuclear disarmament — and stayed. The Greenham Women's Peace Camp became one of the longest-running acts of civil disobedience in history. Their handmade banners were central to their resistance and are foundational to modern craftivism.
This "Women for Life on Earth" banner is a direct homage to the legacy of Greenham Common artists like Thalia Campbell.
