Strive and Hold Cheap the Strain

This expression originates from the 1864 poem Rabbi Ben Ezra by Robert Browning, and was adopted by Suffragists not long after. Strive and Hold Cheap the Strain asks us not to be discouraged by the hardships we face when fighting for an equitable world.
