Patchwork Star Quilt

This classic 8-point Sawtooth Star quilt block dates back to before the American Civil War, when it was also known as the Evening Star. In African American quilting traditions, it is known as the North Star. An enduring motif, these stars can represent the sky above, or the labor of love undertaken to create a safe home for one’s family.

Our version of the Sawtooth Star quilt is made using traditional patchwork techniques, pieced from many colors and textures to complement a modern nursery. It is made of soft, 100% cotton and quilted all over with hand-tied knots, a small physical detail that invites baby’s tactile sense of the world.

Perfect for cuddles, naps, and playtime.
