With over 3,000 islands scattered around its rocky shoreline, coastal Maine is quintessentially New England. From Acadia National Park to the fishing hamlets of the West Bay, our Penobscot Bay Quilt is a perfect memento of bygone summer days. The twisting shoreline and individual islands are meticulously appliqued polysilk onto a soft cotton backing; roads and ocean topography are entirely hand-stitched. This quilt is available in two colorways - pale blue cotton with gold polysilk, and navy blue cotton with steel blue polysilk.
These throw-sized quilts measure approximately 60" x 72". For best quilt care, please machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry on the lowest setting (or lay flat to air dry).
City names embroidered on the quilt include: Bar Harbor, Mt. Desert, Camden, Deer Isle, Belfast, and Rockland.
