Antarctica currently holds 90% of the world’s ice. Our handmade quilted map illustrates the movement and velocity of this ancient, miles-thick ice as it speeds through the polar continent's glaciers, calling attention to the dramatic changes brought about by our warming world. Our embroidered map includes Scott's 1911 route to reach the South Pole from Ross Island, Mount Erubus and McMurdo Station, and a dozen different glaciers.

    • 100% organic cotton
    • Designed in Brooklyn, handmade by our partners in India
    • Appliquéd white cotton is layered on top of black cotton, with additional pale blue cotton appliquéd to show sea ice movement.

CARE

For best quilt care, please machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry at the lowest sitting (or lay flat to air dry).
